A short pictorial guide to making laundry bags for face coverings

Cut out a rectangle to these dimensions on the fold (it will end up 17X60cm)

This shows french seaming the side seams together but overlocking is great if you have one

This shows turning over the top twice to encase it 1.25cm each, or again alternately you can overlock and stitch the channel down just once

Cut your 1.5m of ribbon in half, Open the side seam between the channel to insert one half of the ribbon all the way around and back out of the exact same hole

Complete this whole action on the other side seam, pull all 4 pieces of ribbon evenly then knot and snip the two matching sides to finish
