Scrub Bundles

To allow our seamstresses to focus on construction, we provide pre-cut bundles of fabric, tape, labels and interfacing

All our pre-cut scrub bundles are using the Sew Different pattern. Please download the pattern as it contains useful information for the construction of the scrubs.

Sewing Tips

We’ve had a few queries about different aspects of the pattern, hopefully this section will help address these. If you have any questions, please drop us an email with your number and we will give you a call to talk through anything you’re unsure about.

Neckline

The neckline needs to be stitched along the lines on the photo ensuring that the interfacing is held in place with top stitch to protect it during washing.

Labels

It is really helpful if items have size labels. If size labels do not come in the bundles, could you please sew one like above or write on with permanent marker.

Pockets (Tops)

information-scrubs-pockets-top-annotated.jpg

There are two pockets on the front of the tunic.

Pockets (Bottom)

There are two pockets on the rear of the trousers.

The trouser pockets need to be around 10cm from the top of the waist band to the top of the pocket.

Some patterns may show a hidden pocket within the side seam of the trousers, we are omitting these for efficiency.

Buttonhole Ties

The waistband is adjusted by ties which come out of two button holes that are 5cm apart.

Alternative Ties

If you do not have a button hole mode, a good alternative is like the above.

Black Fabric

It can be difficult to work with black fabric and black thread, but we have examples of using contrasting thread that looks great and is much easier to work with.
